Do you Believe in Coincidences?

Or do you think that there is usually more to the story?

Sometimes I feel like even if I wanted to believe in coincidences. The universe would make me see right through them. Like the other night when I was writing a post for here on Medium.

I was doing what I usually do. Which is sitting on the couch, with my laptop, feet propped up, and Netflix playing a show in the background.

Just as I was starting to write about Mantra’s. I heard the character Milt Chamberlain on Battle Creek, repeating words. Forward → Positive → Embrace the Day.

This was also followed by a manic kind of scream. You know the kind where you feel complete loss of control, with your life, your mind, with reality. Which is what happens when all of the mantra’s in the world can’t change the facts.

I stopped writing for a minute to listen and watch. Then went back to the article I was writing. As I made mental note to not go back on the mantra bandwagon thing again.

The story I was writing when I got my nudge . . .
