Finish your goals, or they’ll Finish your Achievements
When the deck feels stacked against you, try looking at it from a different angle.
Goals and Resolutions are basically engrained into our society. As December comes to an end every year, people start asking. “What are your New Years Resolutions?”
It’s become so much a part of what we expect. That there are countless meme’s that will start circulating in just a few months. Even the ones where people claim they’re NOT participating it the cycle.
In January, gym memberships will sky rocket. And bookstores will sell out of diet/lifestyle/self-help books.
But the cold hard facts, is that only 8% of people will stick to their resolutions. Just let that sink in, only 8% will finish their goals.
You’re probably thinking that is a really small percentage. And with those odds, why would you even start? Living in Las Vegas I see people playing the odds everyday, everywhere.
From the Grandma’s fiercely protecting their slot machine. To the guy I saw pulling a car behind a truck, using only rope to hold the two together. They play the odds, good or bad.
But hopefully if you’re thinking of making goals for yourself, you actually want them to work. And you’ve thought them out a little better than the waiting to…
