I completely agree, he was so unbelievably cruel and stupid at the same time. I think he was just looking at the money, and not caring about anything else. He clearly doesn’t have empathy.

I researched the whole poisoned candy angle, and I could not find any cases that came before this. At least none that was verified with actual testing on the candy.
