It’s that time of year again when everybody remembers that long lost dream they had of writing a book.

***NaNoWriMo is short for National Novel Writing Month, and it’s held every year in November. They have a site you can go check out for more information and to take part in the challenge.

Most people who have heard of NaNoWriMo and tried it have strong opinions on the subject. They either love it or hate it.

I could go into a long list of books that have been written and published all from NaNoWriMo, but you have google so you can do that yourself if you’re interested.

For me personally this year I’m in a good place with my writing. I’ve been publishing a new story every day since the end of August (which is a really long stretch for me).

So, on the one hand, I’m wondering, do I need the distraction of writing a book? Plus, I already have over a dozen books started and not finished, mostly because of NaNoWriMo’s in the past.

Then I think about creativity. And how I have the opinion that all creativity leads to more creativity. I 100% believe this.

So maybe forcing myself to write a book (50,000 words) in a month will help me…
